2007)…Formation, Inc. announced today
it has signed Radiation Electronics Inc. (REI) to market its
ToughDisk® Rugged Hard Disk products for commercial and military
applications throughout regions in the northeast U.S. The agreement
enables Formation to expand its marketing reach to better meet the
growing demand for rugged data storage.
“REI’s expertise is in providing quality solutions and support for
both our OEMs and end-user customer requirements,” says Don Fast,
president of REI. “ToughDisk fits in well with our offering of board,
systems, and storage for rugged applications, such as military or
other harsh environments.”
REI will represent the ToughDisk product line in metropolitan New
York, New Jersey and Lower Connecticut.
Formation’s ToughDisk Rugged Hard Disks provide a low-cost alternative
to solid state data storage built specifically for extreme
environments. The disks perform reliably in temperature, shock,
vibration, humidity and dust conditions that would destroy
conventional hard disks.
