Nim Evatt
President & CEO
Nim joined Formation in 1999. In this role he has focused on
identifying new market opportunities for Formation's knowledge base
and upholding Formation's commitment to quality and innovation.
Previously, he acted as President and CEO of Liberty Technologies, a
developer of predictive maintenance hardware, software and services
for the worldwide power and process industries Prior to Liberty Nim
spent 17 Years with General Electric in various technical and
corporate positions. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Math and
Economics from New Mexico Western University and a Masters of Science
in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University.

Paul Kuphal
Executive Vice President Operations & COO
As Executive Vice President and COO, Paul is responsible for
Operations, which includes Manufacturing, Engineering, Program
Management and Facilities Management. He is responsible for the
execution of operational plans to meet Company objectives for revenue
and profitability. Paul joined Formation in 1973. Since his earliest
days at Formation, Paul has worked in Engineering and Manufacturing on
the development of many Formation products. He was appointed Vice
President in 1991 of the Company’s Storage Systems Group and promoted
to Vice President, Operations in 1996. He was appointed Executive Vice
President in 1997 and Chief Operating Officer in 1999.

Charles Worthman
Vice President Finance
Charlie joined Formation in 1995 and oversees the company's daily
financial operations. Previously, he worked in the equipment leasing
industry with Master Lease and Copelco. Prior to Master Lease and
Capelco, Charlie worked as a CPA with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells.
Charlie holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from University
of Michigan and passed the CPA exam in 1972.

Sam Carswell
Chief Technology Officer
Sam joined Formation in
1983 and has served the company in a series of engineering positions
of increasing responsibility to his current position. He has acted as
a director of engineering as well as a member of Formation's technical
staff applying in-depth expertise in system engineering. As CTO, Sam
sets the corporate direction for the development and acquisition of
in-house engineering expertise. He facilitates growth of the corporate
intellectual property portfolio and works with customers in the
development and refinement of system solutions. Previously, Sam acted
as Chief Architect for the News Corporation and Rockwell Collins
in-flight TV and Internet joint venture. He holds a B.S. in Electrical
Engineering from Rutgers University.

John Pierce
Vice President Quality Assurance
John joined Formation in the 1970s and assumed responsibility for all
electrical and mechanical packaging of Formation's designs. Later he
assumed responsibility for Formation's quality program, initially as a
parallel activity, but eventually as his primary one. In the early
90's, John led the company in a major quality initiative which
preceded the effort of complying with ISO 9001:1994 standard which was
achieved in 1996 and led Formation's AS9100
certification effort. Prior to Formation, John was the Manager of
Hardware Design for RCA and Raytheon. John holds a Bachelors of
Science Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
